A true family business, John S. Greenrock (Jack) founded J.S. Greene & Associates in 1968 as an import company, dealing in hand-crafted furniture frames from Spain, Italy and France.
In 1980, his daughter Judy VanBenschoten, an antique appraiser, came on board. Judy’s daughter, Lisa Villarreal, grew up in the midst of the J.S. Greene environment and it wasn’t long before she too joined the company and recognized the need for a distinct line of furniture dedicated mainly to the hospitality industry. Lisa, with support from her family, started Lily Jack in 2000. Lily Jack was introduced to honor her grandfather (Jack), grandmother (Lily) and their commitment to hard work and solid family values.
